Windows 11

Bypass 4GM RAM + TPM Module Requirements

Sick of Windows 11 telling you your perfectly good PC isn’t “worthy” enough to run it? You’re not alone — Microsoft slapped pointless restrictions like TPM 2.0 and specific CPUs on their latest OS, locking out thousands of capable machines. But here’s the truth: you can absolutely bypass those requirements and install Windows 11 on almost any system — and it’s easier than you think. This guide walks you through using Rufus to create a bootable USB that flips the bird to Microsoft’s restrictions and gets you up and running in minutes.

Step 1: Download Rufus

  1. Go to: https://rufus.ie

  2. Download the latest Rufus version (portable or installer — doesn’t matter).

  3. Run it. No installation needed if you use portable.

Step 2: Plug in a USB Stick

  • Use at least 8 GB (preferably 16 GB) USB 3.0.

  • Back up anything on it — it will get nuked.

Step 3: Get the Windows 11 ISO

Two options:

In Rufus:

  • Click the arrow next to SELECT > choose Download > pick Windows 11.

Step 4: Create the Bootable USB with Bypass

  1. Launch Rufus.

  2. Device: Select your USB stick.

  3. Boot selection: Choose your Windows 11 ISO.

  4. A pop-up appears asking if you want to customize Windows 11 installation.

Check these:

  • Remove requirement for Secure Boot

  • Remove requirement for TPM 2.0

  • Remove minimum RAM requirement (optional)

  • Remove minimum CPU requirement (optional)

  • Disable data collection (optional but sweet)

Click OK.

  1. Leave everything else default unless you know what you’re doing.

  2. Click START.

Step 5: Boot From USB

  • Plug it into your target machine.

  • Reboot and enter BIOS (usually DEL, F2, or ESC during boot).

  • Boot from the USB drive.

  • Install Windows 11 as usual — no more nags.

Bonus: Keep Files?

If you want to upgrade and keep files, don’t boot from USB.

  • Just plug it in while in Windows.

  • Open the USB and run setup.exe.

  • Rufus-ized ISO should let you upgrade without triggering system requirement blocks.
