What this covers

Some pages on ifixelectronics.com.au contain affiliate links — links to third-party products where iFix may earn a small commission if you buy through them. This page explains which programmes iFix participates in, how those links work, and what it means for you as a reader.

This disclosure applies to buying-guide pages (e.g. /recommended-gear) that contain affiliate product links. It does not apply to the iFix homepage, service pages, or booking system.

Programmes iFix participates in

Amazon links on iFix pages point to amazon.com.au and carry the associate tag ifixelec-22 in the URL. NordVPN links carry a separate tracking parameter assigned by NordVPN's affiliate platform.

How affiliate links work

When you click an affiliate link and complete a purchase, the retailer or vendor records that the sale came from iFix and pays a commission — typically a small percentage of the sale price. The price you pay is exactly the same as if you navigated to the product directly. iFix does not set prices and does not receive any share of what you pay.

Commissions help offset the cost of running the site and writing detailed repair-shop content. They do not influence which products are recommended.

What doesn't change

Participation in affiliate programmes does not change:

• Which products we recommend — selections are based on real repair-shop knowledge, not commission rates.
• Editorial independence — iFix is not sponsored by any brand featured on the site.
• The price you pay — affiliate links do not add surcharges or referral fees on top of the listed price.

iFix does not accept payment for product placements, sponsored reviews, or guaranteed positive coverage.

iPhone channel note

iFix sells refurbished iPhones directly via /phones/ (sourced through CrazyParts, with iFix warranty). We deliberately do not run Amazon affiliate links for iPhones — recommending Amazon renewed stock while selling our own refurbished stock would be a channel conflict. If an article discusses iPhones, it links to the iFix store, not Amazon.

Your rights as a reader

Under Australian Consumer Law, you have the right to accurate information and to make informed purchasing decisions. This disclosure exists to ensure you know when a link may earn iFix a commission before you click it.
