Recommended Premium Tablets for One Tablet Instead of Two Devices
These are the premium iPads and Galaxy Tabs I'd actually buy to consolidate a laptop and a tablet into one machine, chosen after 16 years of fixing tablets at our Erina workshop. I've picked them for the things a spec sheet hides: which ones survive a cracked-glass repair without wrecking the display, which charge ports and batteries hold up to daily use, and which tablets are genuinely a laptop stand-in with a keyboard and pen rather than a big phone. Two iPad Pros with the M5 and two Galaxy Tab S11s, all AU-version listings. When one does take a knock — a smashed screen, a dead charge port, a swollen battery — we repair iPads and Galaxy Tabs on the bench rather than writing them off.
