Recommended MacBook Internal SSDs for 2013-2017 MacBook Upgrades
If your 2013-2017 MacBook Air or Pro still feels fine apart from being full or slow to boot, swapping the original Apple SSD for a higher-capacity NVMe blade is the cheapest meaningful upgrade you can make. These are the drives we've actually fitted in our Erina workshop — Apple's proprietary PCIe slot, no adapter, pre-installed macOS where the seller offers it. Bring the Mac in if you'd rather we did the swap (and the Time Machine restore).
