Privacy Policy
We keep what we collect to the minimum needed to sell you the kit and deliver it. We handle your personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
What we collect
- Your email address, which you give at checkout so we can send your download link and provide support.
- A download token we generate for your order, which controls access to your download link and tracks how many times it has been used.
- Basic order details such as the amount paid, the currency, and the time of purchase.
We do not collect or store your card or bank details. Payment is handled entirely by Stripe (see below).
Why we use it
We use this information only to deliver the kit, to re-issue a download link if you ask, to provide support, and to keep a basic record of the sale. We do not use it for unrelated marketing, and we do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone.
Who processes your information
- Stripe processes your payment. When you check out, you enter your card details directly with Stripe, which acts as our payment processor. Stripe handles that information under its own privacy terms. We receive a confirmation and basic order details from Stripe, not your card number.
- Our email system sends your download link. Delivery email is sent through iFix Electronics' own mail server, not handed to a third-party bulk email service.
Your order records (your email, token and order details) are stored on the iFix Electronics server that runs this product. Some of our service providers, such as Stripe, may process or store data outside Australia.
How long we keep it
Your download link and its token expire 72 hours after they are issued. We keep the basic record of your order for as long as we reasonably need it for support, accounting and legal obligations. If you ask us to delete your details and we are not required to keep them, we will.
Access, correction and complaints
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email info@ifixelectronics.com.au and we will respond within a reasonable time. If you are not happy with how we have handled your information, you can also contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).
