Every TV in iFix's buying guides, priced every morning and grouped by screen size. TVs are where a sale badge most often sits on a normal price, so each set is measured against the lowest Amazon AU price we have recorded for it.

How the verdicts work

Every product in iFix's buying guides is priced on Amazon AU each morning and the result is stored. The verdict compares today's price with the lowest price we have recorded for that exact listing. Lowest we've tracked means within 2% of that low. Close to its low means within 8%. Steady price means the price has barely moved since we started tracking, so there is nothing to wait for. Above its recent low means it has been cheaper recently and waiting is reasonable.

A verdict needs at least 14 days of history and a live Buy Box offer. Lowest tracked is the lowest price iFix has recorded since we started tracking that listing, not an all-time low, and we never show a crossed-out recommended retail price. Prices change through the day; the price in your Amazon checkout is the one that counts.

Before you buy anything discounted

Sale weeks bring out listings that are not what they look like. Check who holds the Buy Box: Amazon AU or an Australian seller is the safe default. Check the model code is the Australian one, because overseas variants can arrive with the wrong plug, miss local warranty support or lack the network bands Australian carriers use. And check the returns window, which matters more than usual when something is bought weeks before it is given as a gift.

Every row links to the buying guide it comes from. That is where we explain why each product made the list, what it does badly and what usually fails on it once it is a few years old.

Frequently asked questions

When is Black Friday 2026 in Australia?

Black Friday 2026 is Friday 27 November and Cyber Monday is Monday 30 November. Amazon AU has not announced its own sale dates, and retailers often start early, so this page is updated every morning from now rather than only on the day.

How does iFix decide a price is a real drop?

Every pick is priced each morning and the result is stored. A listing is marked Lowest we've tracked when today's price is within 2% of the lowest Amazon AU price we have recorded for it, and Close to its low within 8%. A verdict only appears once a listing has 14 days of history and a live Buy Box offer, so a new listing can't look like a bargain just because we have only seen one price.

Is the Black Friday price always the lowest price?

No. Some products are cheaper in a mid-year sale or a random week than on Black Friday itself, and some sale prices are the normal price with a badge on it. That is why every row is compared with what we have actually recorded rather than with a recommended retail price.

What should I check before buying a discounted electronic on Amazon AU?

Who holds the Buy Box (Amazon AU or an Australian seller is the safe default), whether the model code is the Australian one rather than a US, UK or EU variant, and the seller's returns and warranty terms. Overseas variants can carry the wrong plug, miss local warranty support or lack Australian network bands. This is general information, not legal advice.
