The Charge 6 is the right Fitbit if you want serious workout tracking without a full smartwatch face on your wrist. Built-in GPS records pace and route on outdoor runs and rides without needing your phone, the heart-rate sensor was overhauled in 2023 to match exercise-bike and treadmill chest-strap readings, and the slim band sits flatter than the Versa 4 under a long-sleeve shirt.
Compared to the Inspire 3, you pay around $60 more for the GPS, Google Wallet and Google Maps integrations — worth it if you cycle, run trails or want to leave your phone behind on a walk. If you only care about steps, sleep and a 10-day battery, the Inspire 3 is the smarter spend. We see plenty of both come through our workshop and either is repairable in 2026.
